Teaching: Seminar optimal transport
Overview
- 2 SWS, credits: 5
- See StudIP for details on time and place. Contact me for the access code on StudIP.
- The seminar implements the module Modul M.Inf.1244: Seminar on optimal transport. Other solutions (e.g. modules for math seminars) can be discussed and applied in appropriate cases.
- In the course of the seminar each participant will give a presentation of approx 45 mins.
- The seminar will be held in a hybrid format. Students can participate in person or online.
- Lanuguage: English
Target audience / what to expect?
- Presentation topics will cover advanced aspects of OT from various directions: numerical, applications in data analysis, analytical.
- Pre-existing knowlege on optimal transport is required. Prior participation in the computational optimal transport lecture is strongly encouraged but students may also have acquired the necessary background elsewhere.
